Throughout history, Baptists have usually been at the front of the pack when it comes to publishing. When the internet began to boom, there were some that hopped on board, bit there were many that stayed away – hesitant, or afraid.

There are certainly many evils lurking on the web, but there are many great features to help churches spread the gospel, teach doctrine, advertise, and communicate. These and other features can really benefit churches a lot.

If it is used properly, that is.

I have been able to help six or seven churches and several small businesses/non-profit groups with their websites. I have been able to learn a lot about designing and developing websites, especially for churches. I don’t know how to do all of the new, fancy tricks (I’m learning more and more all the time), but there are several key elements that are necessary for having a successful website.

I will be posting these elements and more here in the near future.
