I am not the best organizer.
I love the idea of being organized. I love looking at the storage section in stores. I’ve even gotten several things to help organize different rooms in my house. But I need as much help as the next person.
I found this link on Facebook for KMD Organizing. Keri Dickerson started this back in 2009. She has this quote on her “About” page:
“Getting organized is not about reaching perfection; it’s a process to help you live more comfortably so you can focus on what matters most in your life.” – Keri Dickerson
She has put forth a challenge for March: a 31-day challenge to work on organizing for 10 minutes a day. 10 minutes – that’s it. For those of us that need help, this can be a great way to get the encouragement and reminders to increase our organization.
Questions: Do you need help with getting organized? Are you going to take the March Challenge?
I can’t even think about working on a project without being organized first…sometimes it’s a bad thing because I spend time on something that may not be the most important at that time. Key is to get organized and then maintain it, so it doesn’t take hours.
Thanks, Tom. I sometimes find myself spending time organizing a plan to organize that I never actually organize. And, yes, it is as confusing as it sounds!
I’m generally pretty organized. Spending 5-10 minutes a day on organization related activities is a key daily discipline to keeping things straight. After 31 days, I bet it becomes a habit.
I will take the March Challenge, I would say I am normally more organized than not. But there is always room for improvement. Should be interesting to see the recommendations.
